Dining Room Tables

Dining room tables can be made from one solid slab or multiple slabs joined together by glue. Solid slab tables are more expensive and you are constrained to the size of the slab you pick.

Glue-Ups, tables with multiple slabs, can give more flexibility with the width of your table. We generally use a single slab cut into parts for these tables in order to match the grain of the wood.

The table legs are out sourced and chosen by you to match your room motif.

You can see in the pictures below that live edge tables can be a stunning center piece of any room — from rustic to modern.

Black Walnut Table

This black walnut dining room table is made of four pieces of wood that are glued together. This natural yet modern dining room table is just over 8′ in length and amazing 54″ wide. A few of the slabs had some imperfections that we filled with a black onyx epoxy. This gave the table an amazing depth a beauty that. We then finished this table with a beautiful semi gloss conversion varnish and sat the table on custom fabricated legs. As you can see it really brings out the elegance of this table and makes a fine center piece in any style home.

Ambrosia Maple Wood Table

Here we have a truly a one of a kind ambrosia maple wood table. This has more character than I have ever scene in a slab of wood. This table has three slabs in a glue up. When we brought the slabs together, the colors, ripples and lines came together to put a smile on our faces. We added three bow ties or inlays on this ambrosia table instead of epoxy. The live edge on this table is something to take note of where it just comes to life with color and depth. We put a two part satin poly on top to finish this table off. Then custom metal cross buck legs are just the touch to bring this table all together.

Epoxy River Tables

Here we have a beautiful epoxy river table with a double live edge. We cut the slab down to 48″ and then put them side by side so the live edge is on both sides of the table. This allowed us to to pour an epoxy river with a Caribbean blue color down the center which gave the customer exactly what they wanted. We finished this sugar maple off with a semi gloss acrylic and hair pin legs.
